What should I do in the event that I am unable to attempt the online summative assessment?

If a student is unable to attempt the assessment, they must apply for an Aegrotat via MyMANCOSA within five (5) calendar days of the scheduled OSA. The student will receive an automated acknowledgement and approval thereafter. If approved, the student will be required to attempt the assessment during the supplementary OSA cycle (dates will be communicated via the Student Comms App one month prior to the commencement of the OSA) and all standard aegrotat, assessment processes and rules will apply. Students who do not attempt the online summative assessment and do not submit an aegrotat will be required to re- register for the module.
